Job description

Summary:
The Warehouse Person performs picking, packing, shipping, processing orders for shipment. Also performs receiving of incoming parcels and stock, including distribution to specific personnel or warehouse locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Pick, pack, and ship orders.
  • Receive and process deliveries.
  • Load and unload trucks / carriers.
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness of warehouse work areas.
  • Ensure that all trash is disposed of by the end of the day.
  • Assist with facility maintenance in designated warehouse areas
  • Follow all procedures required by JSOX and ISO
  • Arrange pick-ups for LTL shipments, if assigned.
  • Assist with training warehouse employees in their duties regarding products and procedures.
  • Operate powered material handling vehicles in the performance of duties, if certified.
  • Assist with semi-annual physical inventory.

  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations: shipping, receiving, picking, packing, put away.
  • In-depth knowledge of THK products, or the ability to learn.
  • In-depth knowledge of THK warehouse procedures and policies, or the ability to learn.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO procedures governing warehouse operations, or the ability to learn.
  • Forklift Certification; Train the Trainer certification preferred.
  • Basic keyboarding skills and mechanical aptitude.

Education/Field
  • High School Diploma

Experience/Field
  • 1 year - warehouse operations preferred.
