Description:

Stone Creek Coffee is looking to hire a Delivery Driver to transport our delicious bakery and coffee products to our cafes overnight. Delivery Drivers are responsible to represent Stone Creek Coffee in providing the highest quality product, with unmatched attention to the customer, in an optimal timeframe.

Role Aspects:

  • TEAM COMMUNICATION – Delivery Drivers are expected to communicate with each other and the team leaders on a clear and consistent basis for the team to run efficiently. This can be anything from production process updates, order inconsistencies and issues, mechanical needs, delivery updates etc.
  • QUALITY CONTROL - Delivery Drivers have a standard of uncompromising quality of execution and product. They are required to fill and pack orders correctly, in a cost-effective manner. Delivery Drivers need to handle the product with care to make sure no mark-out occurs. A PM Delivery Driver thrives in a role where they are working autonomously, are self-motivated, and are skilled at independent problem solving.
  • OPS - The PM Delivery Driver executes PM Cafe deliveries in an efficient, timely, and professional manner. This includes making sure the vans are in optimal running condition and clean. Any maintenance needs are then to be reported to the manager. The PM Driver is excited by the opportunity to work independently and be out driving from cafe to cafe.
  • COST CONTROL - The PM Delivery Driver is both willing and able to speak up with ideas to enhance efficiency of delivery routes and execution. They can then with the support of the Production General Manager implement creative solutions to any concerns or inefficiencies.
  • EXECUTION - The PM Delivery Driver is able to note irregularities or adjustments to orders to accurately distribute products as needed through attention to detail. They also demonstrate care with every delivery.

  • History of reliable performance

  • Can problem-solve and work independently
  • Able to take direction and perform tasks as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • 100% Agility as you will spend most of the time standing and moving quickly
  • Is comfortable driving and transporting goods in varying weather conditions for an extended period of time
  • Able to transport up to 75 pounds on occasion and up to 50 pounds regularly

Compensation Structure:

We offer a starting pay of $17 / hour for PM Drivers. (This includes a 1.00 differential in comparison to daytime drivers.)

At Stone Creek Coffee we conduct Pay and Performance Reviews twice annually which include compensation discussions. All compensation increase conversations are based on demonstrated value added to the team.
