A-Line Staffing Solutions is looking to hire an Overnight Pharmacy Technician in a fulfillment center environment in Bolingbrook, IL. Job Title: Overnight Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician Pay: $19.00/hour Location: Bolingbrook, IL 60440 Schedule: Regular schedule is Monday–Wednesday, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overnight) (30 hours per week) First week Training: Monday to Thursday 4:30p - 12:30a Job Overview: We are hiring Overnight Pharmacy Fulfillment Technicians for a fast-paced micro-fulfillment center in Bolingbrook, IL.
This is a great opportunity for candidates who are eligible to obtain a pharmacy technician license in the state of Illinois. This role combines data entry, production, and quality control in a highly automated pharmacy environment. Key Responsibilities: Enter patient and prescription data accurately using established procedures Process refill requests and troubleshoot missing or incomplete prescription information Interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes) and resolve data entry exceptions Operate automated pharmacy machinery and support workflow efficiency Count, fill, label, package, and ship prescriptions Maintain inventory flow and ensure quality control at each stage Assist pharmacists and collaborate with team members across locations Resolve third-party insurance rejections by reviewing and correcting claims Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment Basic Qualifications: Pharmacy/Healthcare experience preferred Previous Fulfillment/Warehouse experience preferred Eligible to obtain an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license Active Pharmacy Technician Licensure is HIGHLY PREFERRED High School Diploma or GED Basic computer skills (navigation, data entry, file management, internet use) Additional Requirements: Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently Willingness to work a consistent overnight schedule Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why Apply: Training provided Consistent 3-day overnight schedule (4 days off) Opportunity to gain experience in a growing healthcare field Clean, high-tech work environment Enter medication orders/prescriptions into the pharmacy computer system Reading medication orders and prescriptions Prepare prescriptions for verification by pharmacist File pharmacy prescriptions in the appropriate files Organize medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions Enter prescription data into pharmacy software Fill prescription books or new prescriptions Stock the pharmacy medications and supplies Obtain from the prescription file prescriptions Submitting medication inventory requests to pharmacist Reporting any issues with missing pharmacy medications and supplies medications Prepare medications under supervision of pharmacist Dispensing prescription medication and preparing for pharmacist verification (PV2) Assist the pharmacist in medication compounding Perform pharmacy and medication unit inspections Receive drugs and stock pharmacy Enter critical patient prescription data into pharmacy information system Performing basic pharmacy technician duties Entering new prescription in pharmacy software system Repackag medications for checking by pharmacist
