We are seeking Patient Care Technicians to become part of our team of dedicated professionals! As a member of our Magnet-designated Nursing team, you will provide support to the inpatient nursing staff while helping ensure the comfort and safety of our patients and their family members. Role Overview:

  • Work under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse and assist patients in a timely and efficient manner

  • Handle patient care situations with a high level of integrity, compassion, and professionalism

  • Responsible for taking vital signs, performing EKGs, and collecting specimens

  • Collaborate with the clinical team and provide assistance with procedures as needed

  • Use basic computer and data entry skills to support clinical documentation

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare-related experience in one or more of the following roles:

- Nursing Assistant (NA), Patient Care Technician (PCT), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT),

- Medical Technician, Phlebotomist, or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Or

  • If less than 2 years of experience:

- A Nursing Assistant or other healthcare-related certification obtained within the past 12 months, AND

- At least 1 year of healthcare-related experience in one of the roles listed above

  • BLS certification required by time of hire

  • Epic EMR experience preferred
