Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Step-Down/CPU position requiring a minimum of 3 years of stepdown experience and ACLS certification, working overnight 4x12 shifts with every-other-weekend requirements.

Details
  • Step-down/cardiac progressive unit (CPU) in a hospital setting
  • Telemetry monitoring required for step-down patient population
  • Intermediate/advanced fetal monitoring (FM) skills utilized in this role
  • IV starts performed regularly
  • Charting done in Cerner EMR
  • Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Every-other-weekend (EOW) requirement
  • Holiday coverage required
Requirements
  • Active RN license in Georgia (GA) or a Compact state currently in hand
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 3 years of recent step-down nursing experience required
  • Intermediate to advanced fetal monitoring (FM) skills required
  • Telemetry experience required
  • IV start proficiency required
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred
  • Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Royal blue scrubs are required; scrubs are not provided by the facility
  • 13-week assignment with possibility of extension
  • Two professional references required for consideration
  • Minimal to no RTO will be considered for this position
  • Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
  • Candidates residing between 31–50 miles of the facility will be accepted at a local pay rate
  • Candidates residing beyond 50 miles are eligible for the travel pay rate; Driver's License and updated Nursys verification are required to confirm residency
