Overview

As a Facilities Support employee, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetics of the company facilities while providing support to various departments. Duties include general housekeeping, assisting with vehicle fleet management, preparing meeting and training rooms, and performing minor maintenance tasks. The successful candidate will be dependable, flexible, and possess a valid driver's license with experience operating pick-up trucks and towing trailers. Occasional weekend work and overnight travel may be required. 

A Typical Day at Prime Controls
  • Support Facility Operations: Assist with the general upkeep, cleanliness, functionality, and appearance of interior and exterior company spaces.
  • Manage Office & Shared Spaces: Arrange furniture, interior decor, temporary signage, desk layouts, and other workspace needs to support daily business operations.
  • Stock Supplies: Monitor and replenish breakroom coffee, snacks, beverages, restroom paper products, and other commonly used facility supplies.
  • Handle Mail & Deliveries: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and larger deliveries to the appropriate departments or employees.
  • Respond to Facility Requests: Address routine facility tickets and minor maintenance needs, such as replacing light bulbs, repairing or replacing office furniture, minor plumbing, touch-up painting, and other basic repairs.
  • Support Vendors: Meet and escort external vendors, contractors, and repair technicians to appropriate work areas, utility rooms, equipment, or security panels as needed.
  • Maintain Common Areas: Monitor high-traffic areas throughout the day and empty trash or address housekeeping needs before they become disruptive.
  • Prepare Meeting & Training Spaces: Set up, straighten, stock, and reset conference and training rooms, including moving tables and chairs and configuring spaces for meetings and events.
  • Support Meetings & Events: Assist with food deliveries, meeting supplies, company events, setup, teardown, and cleanup.
  • Make Deliveries & Run Errands: Use company vehicles to complete business-related deliveries, pickups, and errands.
  • Assist with Fleet Support: Help deliver, retrieve, maintain, and outfit company vehicles, including occasional overnight travel and towing small utility trailers when needed.
  • Provide General Support: Assist Facilities and other departments with projects, assignments, and operational needs as they arise.
Additional Duties

What You Will Bring 

The Basic 

  • Previous experience in facilities support, maintenance, office services, building operations, or a similar role preferred.
  • General housekeeping and basic maintenance skills.
  • Ability to perform minor repairs, including light bulb replacement, minor plumbing, furniture assembly or repair, and touch-up painting.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate company vehicles.
  • Experience driving pick-up trucks such as F150s and F250s and ability to tow small utility trailers.
  • Ability to prioritize changing requests and respond to day-to-day facility needs.
  • Willingness to perform a broad range of tasks and provide support wherever needed.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends, early mornings, late events, and overnight travel as required.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive tasks.
The Preferred
  • Experience supporting office or corporate facility operations.
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors or service providers.
  • Experience setting up and tearing down meeting, training, and event spaces.
  • Experience supporting company vehicles or fleet operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize facility needs proactively.
  • Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and customer-service skills.
