Now Hiring: Experienced Estimator — Reno, NV

National Ceramic Tile & Stone is looking for an experienced Estimator to lead pricing and bid strategy for our Las Vegas market. We supply and install tile, natural stone, and surface materials for residential and commercial projects across Reno area, and we need a sharp, driven estimator who can turn plans into winning, profitable bids — fast.

If you love numbers, know construction drawings inside and out, and want to be the go-to person who keeps the pipeline full of great jobs, we want to talk to you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Review architectural and construction drawings, specs, and scopes of work to develop complete, accurate material and labor takeoffs for tile and stone installations.
- Prepare competitive, profitable bids and proposals for residential builders, general contractors, commercial developers, and homeowners.
- Source and price materials — porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, LVT, and specialty surfaces — while maintaining strong vendor relationships and negotiating favorable pricing.
- Build and maintain relationships with GCs, architects, designers, and property managers to keep National Ceramic Tile & Stone top-of-mind for upcoming work.
- Track outstanding bids, follow up proactively, and convert quotes into signed contracts.
- Collaborate with project managers and installation crews to ensure estimates translate into smooth, on-budget execution.
- Monitor market pricing trends and competitor activity in the Las Vegas region to keep bids sharp.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date records in our estimating and CRM software.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3+ years of estimating experience in tile, stone, flooring, or a related construction trade (required).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and construction documents with precision.
- Strong math and analytical skills — you catch errors before they cost the company money.
- A closer's mindset: you follow up, build trust, and win the job.
- Excellent communication skills with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with estimating software, Excel, Bluebeam, Procore and Textura.
- Self-motivated, detail-obsessed, and able to manage multiple bids under deadline pressure.
- Familiarity with the Nevada construction market is a strong plus.
- Valid driver's license for occasional job-site visits.

WHY NATIONAL CERAMIC TILE & STONE
- Health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Paid time off and paid holidays.
- 401(k) with company match.
- A well-established, respected name in the tile and stone industry with a steady pipeline of quality projects.
- A team culture that rewards hustle, accuracy, and ownership.
