Job description

Dedicated Appliance Delivery $2,700 PER WEEK TO OWNER-OPERATOR

Dedicated Local Route | Home Daily | Consistent Weekly Work

Route Ready Workforce is seeking experienced 26-foot box truck owner-operators for a dedicated final-mile appliance delivery operation supporting a major national retailer in the Atlanta/Newnan market.

This is not load-board freight and not an occasional load opportunity.

This is a dedicated operation for owner-operators who want consistent weekly revenue, local routes, and the ability to be home daily.

The Opportunity
  • Dedicated appliance delivery operation
  • Approximately 15 stops per day
  • Local/regional dedicated routes. Exact daily mileage varies by route.
  • 7-day dedicated operation
  • Home daily
  • Consistent weekly work
  • No searching for the next load
  • No waiting for load-board freight
Equipment Required

You must provide:

  • 26-foot box truck
  • Working lift gate
  • Reliable, professional-condition equipment
  • Proper registration and insurance documentation
  • Equipment suitable for residential appliance delivery

Cargo vans, pickup trucks, and smaller box trucks do not qualify.

What You'll Be Delivering

This operation involves residential delivery and installation of major household appliances, which may include:

  • Refrigerators
  • Washers
  • Dryers
  • Electric ranges / ovens
  • Other large household appliances

Teams may also return customer haul-away appliances to the warehouse following delivery.

Two-Person Team Required

This account requires a driver + helper on every route.

If you already have someone you work with, you will have an opportunity during the application process to provide their information.

If you do not currently have a helper, do not let that stop you from applying. Qualified owner-operators may be matched with a helper through Route Ready Workforce.

All drivers and helpers must successfully complete required onboarding and compliance before beginning service.

Experience We Value

We strongly encourage applications from owner-operators with experience in:

  • Appliance delivery
  • Appliance installation
  • Furniture delivery
  • White-glove delivery
  • Final-mile delivery
  • Big-and-bulky residential delivery
  • Home improvement delivery
  • 26-foot box truck operations

Previous appliance delivery/install experience is highly preferred.

This May Be a Good Fit If You...
  • Want consistent local work instead of chasing loads
  • Want to be home daily
  • Already operate a 26-foot box truck
  • Have a working lift gate
  • Are comfortable with residential/in-home delivery
  • Can commit to a dedicated operation
  • Take pride in your equipment
  • Understand professional customer service
  • Want predictable weekly revenue

If you are consistently earning more with your current operation and prefer over-the-road freight, this opportunity may not be the right fit.

If you're looking for dedicated local work with consistent weekly revenue, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

Selected owner-operators must be able to successfully complete required account onboarding, which includes applicable:

  • Background screening
  • Motor Vehicle Report
  • Drug screening
  • Vehicle documentation
  • Insurance verification
  • Driver onboarding
  • Account identification/badging
