What is an overnight assistant?

Overnight Assistants are professionals who provide support and supervision during nighttime hours in settings such as healthcare facilities, group homes, shelters, or assisted living residences. Their duties often include monitoring the safety and well-being of residents or clients, assisting with nighttime routines, responding to emergencies, and performing light housekeeping or documentation tasks. They play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for individuals who need overnight care or supervision.
