Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315 (Airport Area)
Full-Time | Immediate Openings | Weekly Pay

Now hiring reliable CDL Drivers in Fort Lauderdale, FL to support airline catering and airport operations. This position is responsible for catering aircraft and transporting meals, beverages, equipment, and supplies directly to assigned flights while providing exceptional customer service to airline crews. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role working on the airport ramp and in all weather conditions. Ideal candidates are safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working under strict flight schedules and deadlines.

Pay & Schedule

  • Starting at $21.00+ per hour

  • Full-time position (40+ hours per week)

  • Weekly pay

  • Overtime opportunities available (including occasional mandatory overtime based on operational needs)

What You'll Do

  • Operate CDL vehicles and high-lift catering trucks in airport operational areas

  • Transport meals, beverages, equipment, and airline supplies directly to assigned aircraft

  • Gather and verify all catering equipment and supplies for scheduled flights

  • Review flight documentation to ensure correct items are loaded prior to departure

  • Load and unload catering carts, food items, and equipment safely onto aircraft

  • Interface with flight attendants and airline personnel while providing exceptional customer service

  • Follow all company, airport, TSA, CBP, and airline safety procedures

  • Position catering vehicles safely at aircraft and secure work platforms before servicing

  • Dispose of domestic and international waste in accordance with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations

  • Complete vehicle inspections and equipment checks

  • Communicate effectively with operations teams to meet strict flight schedules and deadlines

  • Maintain a professional appearance and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Physical & Work Environment

  • Active, physically demanding position requiring lifting and pushing 70–100 lbs

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and moving equipment throughout shifts

  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, noise, heights, and airport ramp conditions

  • Ability to safely handle dry ice

  • Safety-focused environment requiring PPE compliance at all times

Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL Class A or Class B)

  • Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience required

    • CDL or non-CDL driving experience accepted

    • Experience with Amazon, delivery, commercial, transportation, or similar driving roles may qualify

  • Ability to speak, read, and understand English

  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
