As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Danvers, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to staff and visitors. You will use communication and technology skills to document security-related activities while demonstrating Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility requirements, helping to support a controlled environment for patients and staff.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Preferred ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
