Mobile Building Maintenance Technician
Location: Santa Rosa, CA (Preferred)
Territory: Travel throughout Santa Rosa, Eureka, Crescent City, and Fort Bragg
Schedule: MondayFriday | 7:00 AM4:00 PM or 8:00 AM5:00 PM

Are you the person everyone calls when something breaks? We're looking for a hands-on Mobile Building Maintenance Technician to maintain a portfolio of commercial and institutional facilities across Northern California. Every day is different as you travel between locations, tackle a variety of maintenance challenges, and help keep buildings operating safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do
Perform general building maintenance and repairs across multiple facilities
Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues including leaks, clogged drains, and fixture replacements
Complete light electrical work such as replacing switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, ballasts, and bulbs
Perform carpentry repairs including doors, locks, hardware, drywall patching, painting, and cabinetry
Assist with basic HVAC maintenance including filter changes, thermostat adjustments, and minor troubleshooting
Complete preventive maintenance inspections and identify equipment requiring additional repairs
Respond to work orders using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Plan daily service routes to efficiently support multiple customer locations
Maintain accurate service records, receipts, and maintenance documentation
Keep company vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and in excellent condition
Help maintain safe building conditions, including debris removal and seasonal exterior maintenance
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance needs
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or commercial maintenance experience
Experience performing basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs
Comfortable working independently while traveling between multiple sites
Experience using CMMS or work order management software
Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and mobile applications
Strong organizational and communication skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to safely lift up to 80 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day
Travel
This is a mobile position serving facilities throughout Northern California. Regular local travel is required, along with approximately two overnight travel days each month.
