Job description

Security Systems Technician (Level I-III)
Florida Panhandle

Our clients panhandle branch is growing and adding 1-2 security technicians to the team. What's missing is another technician who can terminate cleanly and troubleshoot a camera or access control system on their own, not just pull cable and wait to be told what's next.

What You Get to Do

  • Install, terminate, and troubleshoot access and camera systems
  • Work across locally and surrounding client locations (Chattahoochee, outside Jacksonville, Gainesville)
  • Clear the service calls
  • Run your territory: home most nights, with 2 to 5 overnight days per month on per diem and expenses covered
  • Own accounts that renew year over year, so the sites and systems become yours to know

What You Have Already Done

  • Terminated and troubleshot access control and camera systems in the field, not just pulled cable
  • Passed, or can pass, an FDLE Level II background
  • Held a valid driver's license and run a territory
  • Come in as a Tech 1, 2, or 3
  • Worked on Axis or Hanwha cameras, or picked up new camera lines fast

Why You Would Do It

Compensation up to $45hr, depending on skill level, with per diem and hotel covered on overnight travel. This is steady work on multi-year state contracts, not a churn of one-off residential jobs. You're home most nights, the travel is planned and paid, and the accounts don't disappear. The benefits are real: medical almost fully covered, three weeks vacation, a week of sick time, a personal day, and 11 holidays. If you want a place where the phone keeps ringing and the work keeps coming, and you'd rather own your sites than get handed a new one every week, this is it.
