POSITION PURPOSE
Directs and trains others to complete promotional product printing & sewing / embroidery work. The position is a member of the Contracts Team.

SPECIFIC DUTIES

  1. Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures. Must possess professional etiquette.
  2. Set up and register screens for various print jobs with precision & attention to detail.
  3. Trains workers understand work process and customer requirements.
  4. Provides guidance and training to workers on how to perform work safely. 
  5. Tracks & reports individual operator performance daily using computer.
  6. Ensures all quality & customer requirements are met.
  7. Troubleshoot printing issues and make necessary adjustments in order to meet customer promise dates.
  8. Tracks & reports rejects, raw material usage, and finished goods output daily.
  9. Assist in shipping / warehouse area as needed for various light assembly/fulfillment jobs.
  10. Other and new duties can be assigned as business dictates.
  11. Interacts courteously with other employees of Goodwill and of businesses for which Goodwill provides services.
  12. Act as a positive role model for employees, trainees, and customers in all aspects of professional performance.
  13. Regular attendance is required.
  14. All other duties as assigned.     

SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   1. Must be able to interact in a positive and professional manner with a variety of people.
  2. Good organizational and time management skills and accuracy.
  3. Must be able to operate screen printing press, sublimation printer, sewing / embroidery machine.
  4. Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
  5. Ability to stand for prolonged times and lift/carry objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and current software programs.
  7. Must interact cordially and productively with Goodwill employees, participants, and customers.
  8. Must possess professional telephone skills and manners.
  9. Flexibility covering other areas of the warehouse when needed.
  10. Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
  11. Vision corrected to within normal limits.
  12. Ability to work well in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum one (1) year operating manual screen printing equipment in lead position.
