Job Description

Operate sewing line scales, which includes setting up the scales for bagging and manually catching bags. Operate sewing machine. Perform light maintenance on the scales. Perform light maintenance on sewing machines. Preform metal detector checks. Perform all food safety checks associated with the sewing lines. Perform light maintenance on the label machine. Daily cleaning tasks. Weekley deep cleaning tasks. Perform pre-operational checklists.


Job Duties

Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures. Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them, and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor. Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.

Preventative Maintenance, Lubrication, Machinery Checks, Monitoring of Dust System, Various Written Reports.


Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
