ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our inside builder and new construction sales team at Banko Overhead Doors. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new leads, nurturing client relationships, and driving sales of our custom home builder garage door products. This role requires a strong understanding of follow-up, professional salesmanship, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Recruit, contact, and communicate with potential new builders to understand their garage door needs and provide appropriate product solutions per their home plans.
  • Prepare and provide accurate pricing quotes per custom home plans.
  • Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication with clients throughout the sales process.
  • Will be held accountable to a quarterly/yearly budget.
  • Collaborate with the installation and service teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management in CRM software.
  • Learn entire garage door and opener product lines.
  • Reading blue prints, doing take-offs, and providing correct wind load products based on location.

Qualifications:

  • Proven 5+track record of success in sales, preferably in the garage door or construction industry.
  • Must be able to read blueprint and do take offs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills a must
  • Follow-up skills, with strong closing abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of garage door products and services is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
