Job description

Cottonwood Distribution, a proud family-owned business with over 60 years of service, is seeking Seasonal Swing Shift Warehouse Associates to support our busy peak season (April through September). In this role, you'll play a key part in picking, organizing, and preparing customer orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work and being part of a team.Key Responsibilities:Use a mobile WMS system to pick and replenish products for customer ordersPick items accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentOrganize and label orders for deliveryAssist with receiving and stocking inventory as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and organized workspaceWork both independently and collaboratively with team membersFollow all safety procedures in a safety-sensitive environmentPerform additional duties as assignedSchedule:Part-time, seasonal position (April through September)Workdays: Sunday, Monday, and WednesdayShift: Swing shift, approximately 2:00 PM until work is completed (typically up to 12:30 AM)Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderPrevious warehouse experience preferredExperience with pallet jacks or similar equipment is a plusAbility to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly (with or without accommodation)Comfortable working in multiple temperature environments, including refrigerated and freezer areasAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentBasic math skills for order accuracy and inventory trackingStrong communication skills (verbal and written in English)Food Handler's Permit preferredWork Environment:Warehouse temperatures range from subzero freezer conditions to approximately 80°FExposure to moving equipment, noise, and varying environmental conditionsFrequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movementsWhy Cottonwood Distribution?Family-Owned Legacy: Be part of a company with over 60 years of trusted serviceTeam-Oriented Culture: Work alongside a supportive, hardworking teamHands-On Work: Stay active in a dynamic warehouse environmentSeasonal Opportunity: Great way to gain experience or earn extra income during peak months
