Position               : OutSystems Premium Developer

Location               : Washington, DC Onsite

Duration              : Long term contract

Role Summary

As an OutSystems Premium Developer, you will:

  • Design, develop, and deploy enterprise‑grade applications on the OutSystems platform.
  • This role collaborates closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and technical teams to translate business requirements into high‑quality, scalable application components.
  • Responsibilities include application development, systems integration, adherence to coding and security standards, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Design, build, and deploy applications on the OutSystems platform (Reactive Web & Mobile).
  • Requirements Translation: Partner with Business Analysts and Architects to transform requirements into functional application features.
  • Systems Integration: Implement integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, and connections to enterprise systems.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure alignment with security, performance, and coding best practices.
  • Testing & Optimization: Participate in testing, troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Produce technical documentation and deliver knowledge‑transfer sessions to internal teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven 8+ years of experience with OutSystems development for Reactive Web and Mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of low‑code development principles and best practices.
  • Experience integrating applications with REST APIsSOAP services, and enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
  • OutSystems Certifications: demonstrate relevant certifications in O11 & ODC

Deliverables & Acceptance Criteria

Deliverables for this role include:

  • Functional OutSystems modules and components, successfully deployed and tested in UAT.
  • Integrated workflows and APIs with verified data exchange and connectivity.
  • Technical documentation and knowledge‑transfer materials approved by the Project Manager.
