Job Description

Position               : OutSystems Developer

Location               : Washington, DC Onsite

Duration              : Long term contract


Overview:

We are seeking an OutSystems Developer to support a high‑visibility, ongoing modernization initiative within our client’s procurement organization. This implementation will support procurement activities ranging from large‑scale service engagements to global infrastructure initiatives

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications on the OutSystems platform (Reactive Web & Mobile).
  • Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and technical teams to translate business requirements into high-quality, scalable application components.
  • Implement integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, and connections to enterprise systems.
  • Ensure alignment with security, performance, and coding best practices.
  • Participate in testing, troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Produce technical documentation and deliver knowledge-transfer sessions to internal teams.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience with OutSystems development for Reactive Web and Mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of low-code development principles and best practices.
  • Experience integrating applications with REST APIs, SOAP services, and enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Demonstrates relevant OutSystems certifications in O11 & ODC
