Radiologic Technologist - Outpatient X-Ray

Radiologic Technologist - Outpatient X-Ray

$43-$60 per hour

Full-time | Monday-Friday | 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

Take ownership of the radiology workflow at a fast-paced outpatient clinic serving patients from urgent care, geriatric medicine, and nearby community health locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Radiologic Technologist who enjoys working independently and wants to become the trusted imaging expert at a new location. You will initially serve as the site’s dedicated RT, with responsibility for organizing patient flow, balancing competing priorities, and delivering high-quality diagnostic images.

The location is expected to open September 28, 2026.

What You'll Do

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations while maintaining excellent image quality and patient safety
  • Independently manage the daily radiology workflow
  • Prioritize patients using established Radiology Department guidelines
  • Monitor schedules, patient-tracking boards, and incoming imaging orders
  • Coordinate with urgent care, geriatric medicine, and other clinical teams
  • Communicate clearly with providers regarding priorities, delays, and patient needs
  • Guide patients throughout the clinic and explain procedures in a calm, professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all radiation-safety requirements
  • Help establish an efficient workflow as the new location grows
  • Serve as the on-site radiology resource for providers and clinical staff

What We're Looking For

  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography, ARRT(R)
  • Current California Radiologic Technologist certification, CRT-R
  • Current BLS certification
  • At least six months of Radiologic Technologist experience in an outpatient setting
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and make sound workflow decisions
  • Confidence managing competing requests from multiple providers
  • Professional and assertive communication style
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift

Schedule

The initial schedule is Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. As patient volume grows, the clinic expects to expand its operating hours to Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Future individual schedules will be based on staffing and operational needs.
