How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Maintain a sterile and safe environment by rigorously applying aseptic techniques, ensuring infection prevention and patient protection throughout the immediate recovery phase.
  • Monitor patient responses to treatments and anesthesia, rapidly identifying clinical changes to adapt care plans and support optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Manage post-operative pain through evidence-based interventions, providing compassionate support to ensure patient comfort during this vulnerable transition.
  • Anticipate patient needs by applying expert knowledge of surgical procedures and patient physiology, proactively preparing for specific interventions to ensure a seamless post-procedural experience.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
      American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
    hire required.
