Job description

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements
  • Specialty: PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care
  • Discipline: RN
  • Duration: 6 weeks
  • 48 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours, days
  • Employment Type: Travel

Required Experience:
Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Pre-Op RN experience required.

Required Certs:
BLS and ACLS must be included in submission packet.

Unit Details:
9 Pre-Op beds and 5 Phase 2 recovery beds. Patient ratio is 1:3. Unit uses Meditech EMR.

Patient/Procedure Types:
Pre-op for Surgery, Endoscopy, Cath Lab, EP, CT patients, outpatient infusions, outpatient EKGs, blocks, and blood transfusions. Phase 2 recoveries include Urology, GYN, and same-day surgery patients.

Preferred:
Prior Meditech experience and strong Pre-Op/Phase 2 recovery experience.
