Job description

River Heights Outdoor Solutions (RHOS) is looking for an experienced Senior Landscape Foreman to lead landscape and hardscape projects throughout the Twin Cities metro area.


This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a crew, keep projects moving, and deliver high-quality work. You’ll lead commercial and residential projects from start to finish while helping develop your crew and maintaining RHOS standards for craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead and supervise landscape crews on commercial and residential projects.
  • Assign daily tasks, set priorities, and keep crews productive and on schedule.
  • Train and coach team members on installation methods, equipment use, safety, and quality standards.
  • Review plans, layouts, work orders, and site conditions before and during installation.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, deliveries, pickups, and job-site staging.
  • Oversee landscape installations including:
    • Trees, shrubs, and perennials
    • Grading and finish grading
    • Sod and seeding
    • Mulch, rock, edging, and bed preparation
    • Site restoration and final detail work
  • Lead hardscape projects including paver patios and walkways, retaining walls, base preparation, and compaction.
  • Safely operate and oversee equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and compactors.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites.
  • Complete required job documentation, including daily notes, photos, and material usage.
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and needs with leadership.
  • Professionally communicate with customers when needed.
  • Identify and escalate scope changes, site issues, and potential delays early.


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of landscaping and/or outdoor construction experience.
  • Previous foreman or crew leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of landscape and hardscape installation.
  • Ability to lead a crew, maintain accountability, and drive production.
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, layouts, and site markings.
  • Experience operating landscape/construction equipment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to perform physical outdoor work, including lifting, kneeling, and operating equipment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
