Job Summary:

The Digital Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repair of existing LED Billboards and related components including but not limited to troubleshooting/diagnostics, maintenance, support of network hardware/software, and communication links in support of our advertising clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for troubleshooting digital display products, systems, and processes and accurately diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair these systems in timely and quality-conscious manner.
  • Climb billboard structures, working at heights of up to 200' for extended periods.
  • Utilize appropriate systems, mobile applications to open, close tickets and track work.
  • Work with high/low voltage power distribution and data communication/networking.
  • Analyze problems, communicate with Manager, and network operations center.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Operation of aerial lift equipment.
  • Install Out of Home (OOH) advertising copy on an auxiliary basis to assist Static Install Crew.
  • Maintain and keep track of warehouse inventory.
  • Shipping and receiving tools and parts associated with LED Billboards
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Education and Certifications

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or military experience.

Work Experience

  • Working knowledge of electrical skills and techniques and an understanding of electrical requirements for wiring general signage.
  • Experience safely utilizing construction tools / equipment and working on digital displays or electronics, strongly preferred.
  • Experience with computers, networks, communications gear, and other electronic components.

Skills

  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to complete appropriate documentation and reports.
  • Able to operate with tools and carry ladders in a safe and effective manner.
  • Competent in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

  • Working outdoors with the ability to work in adverse weather conditions and climb to heights up to 150 ft.
