Job Description:

The Ready-Mix Concrete Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle to deliver ready-mix concrete to customer job sites while ensuring product quality, safety, and excellent customer service. Family Owned and Operated.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a mixer truck to transport and deliver readymix concrete to various construction sites.
  • Conduct daily pretrip and posttrip inspections of the truck.
  • Safely load, transport, and discharge concrete in accordance with specifications and company procedures.
  • Communicate with dispatchers, batch plant operators, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain slump (consistency) of concrete through proper use of truck controls and added water, when authorized.
  • Wash out drum and chutes after each delivery to prevent material buildup.
  • Keep truck clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
  • Represent the company professionally with customers, contractors, and the public.
  • Qualifications:
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class B or higher with air brake endorsement.
  • Safe driving record (MVR will be reviewed).
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Unexpired DOT medical card.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if needed.
  • Experience with mixer trucks or construction materials (preferred, but training may be provided).
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to climb ladders and access all areas of the truck.
  • Lift and carry chutes and other equipment (up to 5075 lbs).
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
