Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, gynecologic, obstetric, vascular, and more
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, elucidating each procedure with kindness and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee high-quality diagnostic outcomes
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment diligently, reporting any issues in a timely manner
• Document all procedures accurately and uphold patient confidentiality within the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS certification or its equivalent is mandatory
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic techniques and patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
