JOB TITLE: Shipping Associate TEMP
JOB SUMMARY
This Shipping Associate will be responsible for ensuring proper receipt and placement/storage of materials throughout the warehouse and shop.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working with hand and power tools
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Positive team player attitude with an interest in continuous improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Dependable, reliable, and punctual
  • Able to work evenings and some holidays, and overtime when needed

CORE DUTIES
  • Read and record serial numbers from firearms
  • Memorize all models and specifications
  • Pack orders following proper instructions and verify all relevant information of outbound shipments
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Provide communication to management when daily tasks cannot be accomplished in a regular workday
  • Provide back-up for all shipping/receiving function
  • Undergo training in all areas of the warehouse (Shipping, Receiving, and OSP)
  • Maintain overall appearance, cleanliness, neatness, etc. in shipping/receiving area
  • Operate power equipment in a safe and efficient way (forklift & pallet jack)

HOURS
  • 1st shift position
  • Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday - overtime as needed
  • Temporary position not to exceed 90 days

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.? Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
