Job description

PrideStaff is seeking an experienced, high-performing Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of a premier, national distribution company with a state-of-the-art facility in Newnan, GA. In this role, you will lead daily warehouse department operations, manage team productivity, ensure inventory accuracy, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Department Leadership: Direct and oversee daily inbound receiving or outbound shipping operations, balancing workloads and ensuring daily shipping/receiving targets are met.
  • Team Management: Supervise, train, mentor, and schedule hourly warehouse associates. Manage timekeeping, evaluate performance, and foster a positive, accountable team culture.
  • Inventory & Accuracy: Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs), cycle counting routines, and proper documentation to maintain high inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Safety & Compliance: Drive strict adherence to OSHA safety guidelines, facility security, 5S workplace organization, and proper operation of material handling equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks).
  • Process Improvement: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify operational bottlenecks, and utilize WMS data to streamline workflows.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a high-volume distribution or logistics facility.
  • Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
