Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians to provide high-quality patient care, administer medications, and assist with daily health care tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of an RN or physician.
Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical histories.
Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
Assist with wound care, catheterizations, and other nursing procedures.
Observe patients and report changes in condition to medical staff.
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications:Current and valid LPN license in the state of practice.
Completion of an accredited LPN program.
CPR/BLS certification (required or must be obtained upon hire).
Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Work Environment:May work in hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinics, or home healthcare.
May require standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
Flexible shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
