This is an opportunity for someone who wants to build a business, not just manage a list of accounts. You'll work with local, regional and national businesses to understand their goals, uncover opportunities and create marketing solutions that help them grow.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do:

• Develop new business through consistent prospecting, networking, referrals, email, phone calls and face-to-face meetings - minimum of 100 outreach per week
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, marketing leaders and decision-makers
• Conduct thoughtful discovery conversations to understand a client's business, challenges, goals and target audience
• Create customized, multi-platform marketing solutions based on each client's needs
• Sell across Audacy's portfolio, including broadcast, streaming, podcasts, digital, video, events, sponsorships and other marketing solutions
• Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and presentation through closing and campaign execution and retainment
• Consistently work toward and exceed individual sales goals
• Maintain a strong pipeline and actively look for opportunities to grow existing accounts
• Deliver exceptional customer service and become a trusted marketing partner to your clients
• Stay current on industry trends, consumer behavior and new advertising opportunities
• Work collaboratively with sales management, marketing, programming, digital and other internal teams to deliver successful campaigns
• Attend sales meetings, training sessions, client meetings and events

Qualifications
Required:
We're looking for someone who is driven to win and motivated/disciplined to build something of their own.
You may be a media salesperson already, or you may come from another sales environment. What matters most is your ability to prospect, build relationships, understand business needs, present solutions and close.

• Someone who takes ownership of their business and their results
• Experienced in media, advertising, sponsorship, digital or another consultative sales environment preferred

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably new-business development
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage the full sales process from prospecting through close
• Comfortable using CRM and standard Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to learn and confidently present new products and marketing solutions
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check. Reliable transportation and valid insurance is required.
