  • Strong, compassionate communication skills with both patients and colleagues
  • Creative thinking and adaptability in meeting diverse needs
  • Confidence in working independently as well as collaboratively within a cohesive interdisciplinary team
Benefits
  • Welcoming, team-centered environment with ample opportunities for growth
  • Stable full-time schedule featuring flexible shifts
  • Clinical mentorship and resources for professional development
  • Access to advanced tools, superior facilities, and streamlined documentation systems
  • Opportunities to participate in quality improvement and innovative initiatives

Your Role in Patient Healing
Within this role, you will do far more than treat injuries - you will help restore important routines, rebuild lost confidence, and rejuvenate the joy in everyday life. Whether you are empowering stroke survivors through fine motor rehabilitation or assisting orthopedic patients to rediscover mobility post-surgery, your expertise will make a profound impact by providing personal-centered therapy that supports resilience and independence.
This environment thrives on depth and connection rather than shortcuts or checkmarks. Here, every patient represents a unique story, and each therapy session serves as a vital chapter in their journey. You will collaborate closely with fellow therapists, healthcare providers, and social workers to curate rehabilitation plans that are as distinctive as the individuals you serve.
Why You'll Appreciate the Team - and the Inspiring Community That Surrounds You
We've created something truly special in our team. Our rehabilitation unit isn't just about fulfilling tasks - we uplift one another, exchange knowledge, and celebrate achievements, both large and small. This is a workplace that values your input, prioritizes your growth, and ensures that your contributions resonate every day.
Equally captivating is the setting: Stockton, California, a vibrant city in the San Joaquin Valley where tradition and modern life harmoniously collide. Imagine neighborhoods bursting with rich history and creativity, from flourishing art scenes to flourishing farmers' markets. Here, you can enjoy tranquil weekends by the river, bustling cultural festivals, and new culinary experiences that reflect the community's diversity.
When it comes to leisure, Stockton pulses with activity. Discover parks filled with pleasant walking trails, savor the culinary delights that the local dining scene has to offer, and explore the area's varied shops, cafes, and cultural hotspots. Each encounter adds to the rich tapestry of community life, fostering connections and experiences that linger long after the day is done.
Who We're Searching For
We're in search of individuals who view occupational therapy not just as a job, but as a distinct vocation. You should be someone who feels joy when a patient regains their ability to use their hands, walks with newfound confidence, or shares experiences that were once silenced.
Whether you are a seasoned OTR/L or a promising new graduate, you will flourish here if you infuse your work with heart, determination, and warmth. If you find excitement in blending high-quality patient care with an equally high-quality lifestyle - you have discovered your calling.
Join Us in Creating Impactful Change - Together
This is your invitation to be part of something far greater than a job title. In this role, your efforts will sculpt futures, invigorate recoveries, and restore what was once lost. And you'll get to do it in an area famous for its harmonious mix of industrious spirit and peaceful living.
If you are ready to expand your horizons, contribute meaningfully, and immerse yourself in a community that cherishes its members - we welcome you to join us.
