\n and timely delivery of fiber services to our customers.\n

\n <\/div>\n

\n Team Leadership & Development\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Lead an internal OSP construction team that includes union and non\-union employees\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n performing multiple disciplines.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Provide leadership and mentorship to outside plant (OSP) team through coaching, feedback,\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n development goals and performance management.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Project Oversight & Accountability<\/b>\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Accountable for the staffing, capital budgets, schedules and compliance associated with OSP\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n construction projects, along with the safety and quality of work performed.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Resolve OSP roadblocks.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Issue work orders to internal and external resources while following established company\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n processes and procedures.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Verify contractor's invoices for accuracy.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Planning & Execution\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Identify fiber routes, building entry, and internal routing requirements necessary to complete\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n the project.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Develop, coordinate, and execute project schedules with contractors, property management,\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n customers, vendors, internal stakeholders, municipalities, and government agencies.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Quality Assurance & Compliance\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Inspect active construction projects to ensure that we are following company, municipality or\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n government agency guidelines, and any other relevant guidelines related to the installation of\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Ziply infrastructure.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Complete post construction plant walk\-out including as\-builts necessary to fulfill company\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n standards, utility, and local government requirements.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Documentation & Communication\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Coordinate and participate in various internal meetings to ensure communication and\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n alignment of initiatives, information sharing and implementation of best practices.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Serve as a market neutral SME on fiber construction solutions and best practices.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Oversee the documentation of OSP construction projects.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Availability & Other Duties\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Participate in on\-call schedule rotation which includes after hours and weekends.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Performs other duties as required to support the business and evolving organization.\n

\n Required Qualifications:<\/b>\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n High school diploma or GED.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Minimum of eight (8) years of outside plant (OSP) experience, including splicing and construction.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Advanced understanding of fiber splicing and installation practices, proper safety construction\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n practices and network topology.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Advanced understanding of the permitting process for railroad, DOT, cities, counties, and pole\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n owners.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Must complete a pre\-employment drug screening.\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n Preferred Qualifications:<\/b>\n

\n Experience managing capital budgets preferred.\n
