The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the manufacturing facility. This includes receiving, storing, distributing, and staging materials and products using a forklift and other material handling equipment. This role ensures continuous production flow by maintaining adequate supply levels at supporting shipping and receiving activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move locate, stack and count materials.

Load and unload trucks, inspect deliveries for accuracy and damage, and complete necessary documentation.

Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods between storage, production, and shipping areas.

Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle count as needed.

Stage material for production according to work orders and schedules.

Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to support workflow and minimize downtime.

Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance (e.g., forklift pre-checks)

Assist in packaging, labeling and palletizing finished products as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

1 - 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Valid forklift certification with demonstrated safe operating history.

Ability to lift 40 lbs. and work in fast paced, physically demanding environment.

Basic math, reading, and computer skills (e.g., data entry, inventory systems)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
