Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate - Shipping is responsible for efficiently preparing, packaging, and processing outgoing customer orders for shipment. This role ensures orders are complete, labeled accurately, and shipped on time while maintaining accuracy, safety, and compliance with company standards and carrier requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Verify product counts and ensure accuracy against invoices, manifests, or pick tickets.
  • Label and process shipments in accordance with company and carrier standards (e.g., UPS, FedEx, freight).
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, or quality issues.
  • Maintain shipping areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to ensure orders are shipped accurately and on schedule.
  • Assist with unloading, receiving, and storing incoming shipments as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols when handling heavy or hazardous materials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
