Job Title: Warehouse Associate Department: Processing Operations Location: Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor Job Type: Full-time Compensation: Job SummaryThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently pulling products for customer orders, loading and unloading refrigerated trailers with eggs using pallet jacks and forklifts. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, contributing to the overall success of our shipping and receiving operations. Essential Job Functions Pull and palletize orders with the correct quantity and SKU, wrap with plastic, and prepare for loading on delivery trailers. Utilize standup forklifts and ride-on pallet jacks to load and unload semi-trailers and move freight around the warehouse. Load all outgoing containers and trailers in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned. Actively participate in and promote a safety culture by following safe work practices and adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Report incidents, accidents and any unsafe conditions. Other duties as assigned. Learn product SKUs and become proficient with load/pick sheets and picking software. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in a warehouse setting. Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Must pass a forklift driving test. Ability to read, understand, and speak simple sentences and follow directions and instructions. Able to work in various climate conditions including extreme heat and cold environments, walking, standing, and sitting for long periods of time.
