As a Certified Sterile Processing Technician at Novant Health's Huntersville Medical Center, you'll be trusted to deliver remarkable service while supporting patient care. Your skill, judgment and adaptability will help drive safe, compassionate care where it matters most.
This PRN role is ideal for experienced Certified Sterile Processing Technicians looking to work within a high-performing, collaborative team with exposure to a wide range of instruments.

*Sterile Processing Tech Certification required
*Sterile Processing Tech experience highly preferred
What You'll Do
-Cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, storing, and distributing equipment
-Ensures the instruments and equipment are available
-Ensures all equipment is properly maintained, and ready for immediate use in order to support patient care
What We're Looking For
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Experience: One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required.
  • Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology. Maintains Sterile Processing Technician certification.
