Fuze HR Solutions is proud to partner with a leading aerospace manufacturing company that specializes in precision machining, stampings, fabricated components, and assemblies for the aerospace and defense industries. With decades of industry experience, long-term customer relationships, and continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Program / Account Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aerospace professional who enjoys managing customer relationships, coordinating complex programs, and working cross-functionally to ensure projects are delivered on time and to customer expectations.

Position Summary
The Program / Account Manager will manage assigned aerospace customer accounts and programs, serving as a key liaison between customers and internal teams. This role will coordinate customer requirements, purchase orders, schedules, pricing, program status, and production needs to ensure successful program execution and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned customer programs and statements of work, including schedules, customer requirements, quality standards, and program commitments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, providing timely updates and proactively addressing questions, concerns, and potential issues.
  • Review and prepare proposals, contracts, long-term agreements, and customer requirements for new and existing programs.
  • Partner with engineering, estimating, production, manufacturing leadership, and customer service teams to confirm scope, pricing, timing, and program commitments.
  • Lead program planning by reviewing costs, lead times, schedules, risks, and overall project status.
  • Monitor and improve On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance by identifying production bottlenecks and proactively addressing schedule risks.
  • Coordinate vendor lead times against customer and production schedules and evaluate expedited options and associated costs when necessary.
  • Manage customer purchase orders, purchase order changes, approvals, and related documentation.
  • Work closely with estimating on Requests for Quote (RFQs) and manage engineering change requests to ensure scope, pricing, schedule, and customer requirements are clearly understood.
  • Prepare and maintain Open Order Reports (OOR), Work in Process (WIP) trackers, Line of Balance (LOB) reports, and other customer-required program documentation.
  • Communicate program status, schedule updates, roadblocks, and customer requests to internal leadership and production teams.
  • Attend customer meetings and conference calls, ensuring clear communication and effective expectation management.
  • Maintain accurate program schedules and status updates while proactively communicating potential risks or delays.
  • Ensure assigned programs comply with applicable customer, regulatory, and quality requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, account management, customer service, or a related role within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage complex projects and customer programs while meeting schedule and budget expectations.
  • Experience working with customer portals, workspaces, or program management systems such as MoveIT, cFolders, ESIS, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of purchase order processing and change order management.
  • Ability to take ownership of customer accounts, establish effective processes, and work independently.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to communicate proactively and respond with an appropriate sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn ERP, project management, and customer portal systems.
  • Ability to meet ITAR requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing operations, including machining and/or fabrication processes.
  • Understanding of basic aerospace engineering concepts.
  • General knowledge of quality systems, finance, and purchasing.
  • Working knowledge of contracts, sales, terms, and conditions.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $40.00–$48.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Full-time, on-site position
