The Sales Support Associate plays a critical support-focused role by providing exceptional service to both internal teams and external customers. This position ensures smooth order processing, accurate data entry, timely issue resolution, and seamless coordination between inside and outside sales teams. What You’ll Do

  • Serve existing and potential customers through inbound call management, order processing, and support activities.
  • Use active listening to understand customer needs and provide accurate product and service solutions.
  • Resolve customer issues by investigating concerns and partnering with supervisors when escalation is required.
  • Work closely with inside and outside sales representatives to ensure strong account coverage and continuity.
  • Provide administrative support including quotes, shipping coordination, email responses, and call coverage.
  • Act as backup support for inside sales when team members are out.
  • Support Big Box vendors such as Home Depot and Lowe’s, primarily through EDI order processing.
  • Prepare product samples and coordinate FedEx and other outbound shipments.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all order and support activities.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in customer service or administrative support role.
  • Exposure to office-based or sales-support environments.
