Job description

Controlled Products Systems Group (CPSG), an affiliate of Chamberlain Group, is a one-stop distributor of access control and perimeter security products for professional dealers and installers across residential, commercial, and industrial markets. This role is in the CPSG Operations function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Perform all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality, and (ii) Assist customers with order pickup; complete deliveries of inventory to customer locations; provide standard customer service functions.

Requires 5 years experience in a high volume warehouse environment and a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Forklift Certification.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to ensure highest levels of safety and quality

Assist customers with order pickup; complete deliveries of inventory to customer locations; provide standard customer service functions

May perform basic to high-level modifications to parts of customer products per specified requirements

Oversight of outbound shipment processes

Assist with handling incoming telephone inquiries, and other administrative duties as requested

Ensure a clean and safe working environment as well as the safety and security of all employees by following all safety and company standards

Able to train on all warehouse tasks utilizing standard work and policies in order to comply with

procedures and policies; implement visual aids with the distribution center in compliance with company policy

Contribute and implement process suggestions in order to continuously improve warehouse operations

Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify supervisor in order to correct issue

Report company equipment and infrastructure damage to ensure repairs occur in order to minimize safety risk

This position requires regular and predictable on-site attendance and the ability to work the particular shift and/or schedule to which you are assigned, as well as additional hours as needed

Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams

Protect CPSG's reputation by keeping information confidential

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Forklift Certification

Experience:

5 years experience in a high volume warehouse environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to Read and Write in English

Valid driver's license

The pay range for this position is $27.21 - $42.28/hr. Base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
