Job description

Summary:

Responsible for receiving and processing incoming products, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders and managing stock within assigned department.ย 

Shift: Sun-Thurs 12:00pm - 8:45pmย ย

Duties:

  • Accurately pick parts.
  • Weigh product using the proper scales.
  • Check part numbers and quantities with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Accurately pack orders into shipping cartons, verifying all components of the order are accounted for the correct customer.
  • Responsible for reading customer order notes and filling the order with any special customer requirements.
  • Unload freight and check in product.
  • Stock parts in the proper location.
  • Maintain stock and shipping supplies.
  • Assist in counting physical inventory; perform inventory audits as needed.
  • Notify Department Lead or Department Supervisor of any stock shelf issues.
  • Report defective materials/product, shortages and/or questionable conditions to the Lead or Supervisor.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Follow all safety rules.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Similar job experience preferred.

RF handheld experience preferred.

Strong proficiency in English communication including reading, writing, and verbal interactions are required for complying with safety protocols and operational procedures.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on level surfaces for a prolonged period. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear; use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms above should height and below the waist. The employee must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. 70% of the day and up to 65 lbs. 30% of the day.
