Vice President, Business Analyst – Capital Markets Operations Job Summary

Within the project group, the business analyst will work on projects involving Capital Market Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write business requirements/expression of needs.
  • Validate specifications from a functional standpoint.
  • Draft the test strategy and coordinate User Acceptance Tests.
  • Manage the communication around projects to all stakeholders located in the US and Head office.
  • Write and/or update operational procedures.
  • Formalise process flows (functional and system-related mappings).
  • Support and implement change management actions (new products, new process definition, gap analysis formalisation, post-implementation follow up, trainings, operational risk monitoring).
  • Ensure post Go Live follow up actions.

CMO NY/Paris: Back Office (Equities, Fixed Income, FX-MM, Derivatives), Middle Office (Treasury, Credit, FX, IRD, Securitization & Collateral), Control & Reconciliation. Other CMO projects: CMP Paris, CMO Montreal, CASPL Mumbai, NY departments (Front Office, Permanent Control, IT, BCP, Finance, Risk, Audit, Compliance).

Experience

7-10 years required. Project Certifications (PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, Agile) is a plus.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work with minimum daily supervision.
  • Knowledge of project management and project life cycle.
  • Working knowledge of Capital Market systems (Helix, Orchestrade, Sophis, Calypso, Phase3).
  • Working knowledge of Financial products (Bonds, Equities, Securitization).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite (XL, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good oral, written & presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of US Regulations (FED BONY, DTCC, FICC Clearer role, 15A6 reporting) and European Regulations (DFA, EMIR, Volcker).
  • Ability to develop Macros.
  • Fluency in French highly desirable.
Salary Range

$150k-$180k.
