Job description

Job Title: Oracle Grants Functional Consultant (Implementation)

Location: Remote

Contract: Long term

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead functional activities for Oracle Grants Management during implementation projects.
  • Conduct business requirement gathering and gap analysis with Grants, Finance, and Compliance teams.
  • Configure Oracle Grants modules, including:
    • Award setup and lifecycle management
    • Funding and budgeting
    • Cost sharing
    • Indirect cost calculations
    • Compliance and reporting
  • Integrate Oracle Grants with related modules such as:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Projects (PA)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Procurement
  • Define and execute CRP, SIT, and UAT cycles; support defect resolution.
  • Prepare functional design documents (BRD, FDD), setup documents, and test scripts.
  • Support data migration, validations, and reconciliations.
  • Provide end-user training and develop training materials.
  • Support go-live activities and post-production support.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and sponsor regulations (where applicable).
Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Oracle Financials functional experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Grants Management implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of grants accounting, sponsored projects, and compliance concepts.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS Grants (R12) and/or Oracle Fusion Grants (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of Project Costing, Budgetary Controls, and Revenue Recognition.
  • Ability to work independently and lead functional workstreams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
