Job Description

ProSidian Seeks a Project Management PMP / Schedule Support Specialist (Part-Time) in located in The Hanford Tri-Cities Area (Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford in Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area. 

The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide General Support Services Contractor (GSSC) assistance to support DOE Hanford [which consists of Richland Operations Office (RL), and Office of River Protection (ORP)] in support of the Govt's operations, personnel management, and general administration of regional operations at the Hanford Site in Richland, Washington. 

ProSidian Consulting's work includes supporting DOE requirements for consulting support, acquisition support, program/project management support, operational/administrative business support, and environmental consulting support.  It is also ProSidian's duty to protect all classified information, special nuclear material, and other DOE property and work in accordance with DOE security regulations and requirements to maintain responsibility for protecting all classified information and all classified matter (including documents, material and special nuclear material) which are in every Engagement Team Member's possession and in connection with the performance of work under this contract against sabotage, espionage, loss or theft.

FY19003 AMRP Schedule Support Candidates shall work to support requirements as a Project Management PMP / Schedule Support Specialist and provide PMP Certified Project Management schedule support using Utilize Oracle's Primavera P6 Professional Project Management software to organize project activities and provide resources and target plan support for the Dept. of Energy | Richland Operations Office (DOE-RL) Life-Cycle Schedule for RL-0013, specifically incorporating activities into specific Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that currently do not have activities assigned.  Oracle's Primavera P6 Professional Project Management is the recognized standard for high-performance project management software, is designed to handle large-scale, highly sophisticated and multifaceted projects.

Schedule Support Specialist / Project Management PMP shall provide support in the following areas:

  • Utilize Oracle's Primavera P6 Professional Project Management software to organize projects up to 100,000 activities, and provides resources and target plan support.   Oracle's Primavera P6 Professional Project Management, the recognized standard for high-performance project management software, is designed to handle large-scale, highly sophisticated and multifaceted projects.
  • Revise the Dept. of Energy | Richland Operations Office (DOE-RL) Life-Cycle Schedule for RL-0013, specifically incorporating activities into specific Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that currently do not have activities assigned.  The activities must be consistent with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) dictionaries for the particular work. This work must be coordinated with the RL-0013 cost estimator so that the costs are also developed for the activities and included in the schedule database.
  • Revise the life-cycle schedule to be consistent with both project and external interfaces, e.g., ORP requirements for the Integrated Disposal Facility.
  • Revise as needed the life-cycle schedule to ensure compliance with all Tri-Party Agreement (TPA) milestones.
  • Revise the life-cycle schedule so that it is risk-ready for budget and life-cycle analysis.
  • Revise the life-cycle schedule to close open ends and other logic errors that may exist.
  • Ensure that the life-cycle schedule has all necessary activities needed to accomplish project objectives through project end date. This work must be coordinated with the RL-0013 cost estimator so that the costs are also developed for the activities and included in the schedule database.

Qualifications

The Project Management PMP / Schedule Support Specialist shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position.  Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.

Schedule Support Specialist / Project Management PMP personnel shall possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • 10 years of relevant experience. 
  • Experience utilizing Oracle's Primavera P6 Professional Project Management Software
  • Demonstrated by Project Management experience with an emphasis in work scope development, cost estimation, and particularly schedule preparation.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Primavera P6 schedule software.
  • Demonstrated by the ability to complete tasks within Primavera P6 software independently, and with little or no additional guidance.
  • Skilled at critical thinking, problem identification and resolution with very limited guidance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • U.S. Citizenship.

TRAVEL:  Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.

LOCATION:  Work shall be conducted at the Department of Energy - Richland Operations Office, The Hanford Site, and Richland, WA.
