Geospatial Full-Stack Developer
The Opportunity:
As a geospatial full-stack developer, you will deliver end-to-end solutions for spatial data challenges in a fast-paced, agile environment. If you're eager to not only build software but architect systems that drive impactful geospatial outcomes, we want you on our team. We're seeking a developer with the skills to take geospatial applications from concept to production-ready deployment.
This role goes beyond coding. As a geospatial full-stack developer at Booz Allen, you'll leverage your passion for spatial technologies, learn new tools, and identify improvements for geospatial systems. You'll help clients solve complex spatial problems using modern architectural approaches, geospatial libraries, and cloud technologies. You'll ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and future-proof, considering both current and evolving geospatial requirements.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in Front-End or React development
  • 5+ years of experience with API-focused development, including DRF or REST
  • 3+ years of experience developing in a geospatial environment, including understanding of GDAL, PDAL, and OpenLayers
  • Experience with technical design and code reviews
  • Experience with Git for code version control
  • Experience with AWS and SQL
  • Experience with using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
  • Ability to work on a multi-developer team that integrates code into single work product and create solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience presenting to client teams
  • Experience with source control systems, including Git
  • Experience working with Oracle Spatial and geodatabases
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
