Position : QA Engineer - Oracle Retail - RMS/ReSA QA
Location : Seattle, WA - Hybrid
Duration : 6+ Months Contract
A day in the life:
As QA Engineer- Inventory Systems, you will be working with a cross functional team to understand business and functional requirements and lead quality assurance efforts for Inventory, Supply Chain and Finance initiatives. You will ensure that the Inventory platform is quality controlled using best practices to meet the scalability and reliability required for growing business needs.
Roles & responsibilities:
  • Ensure business requirements, Solution, are understood well and test cases/strategy defined to minimize production defects.
  • Be hands-on with Oracle Retail Suite of Products (RMS, ReSA, RPM, RIB).
  • Partner with other QA teams (digital, retail, supply chain), design test cases, execution plans to ensure that functionalities built are thoroughly tested.
  • Support troubleshooting through solid analytical reasoning.
  • Partner with the Test Automation team to develop Automation scripts in the Inventory area.

Required Qualifications & Technical Expertise:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years in in design/QA of Oracle Retail Applications (RMS, ReSA, RPM, RIB, RSE services)
  • Strong knowledge & hands-on experience on Oracle Retail customizations
  • 2+ years experience in Test Automation - Good to Have
  • Understanding of selenium based test automation frameworks is needed - Good to Have
  • Basic understanding of cloud based infrastructure and web services
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, be a self-starter with strong initiative, and ability to manage/execute workload to deliver high quality results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Waterfall & Agile methodology
  • Experience working with high performing transaction systems
