Job description

Aevitas IT is seeking a highly skilled Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Consultant to join our finance systems team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain Oracle Hyperion HFM applications to support our financial consolidation and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and implement Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) solutions.

  • Work closely with finance teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Perform data integrations with source systems (ERP, GL, etc.).

  • Develop and maintain metadata, rules, and forms within HFM.

  • Handle HFM application administration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.

  • Develop and maintain financial reports using Hyperion Financial Reporting (HFR) and Smart View.

  • Support month-end and year-end close processes and ensure system reliability during critical periods.

  • Provide training and support to end users.

  • Document system architecture, configurations, and business processes.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

  • Strong understanding of financial consolidation, accounting principles, and reporting requirements.

  • Experience with HFR, Smart View, and FDMEE/ODI is a plus.

  • Proficient in scripting languages (VBScript, SQL, etc.) for rule development and automation.

  • Knowledge of Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and other Oracle EPM tools is an advantage.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Oracle Certified Expert Hyperion Financial Management

  • CPA / CMA or equivalent financial certification is a plus
