Oracle Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Services (AHCS), Oracle General Ledger (GL) Cloud, and cross module mapping and integration.
Roles & Responsibilities
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Services (AHCS), Oracle General Ledger (GL) Cloud, and cross module mapping and integration. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, configuring, and supporting financial processes within Oracle Fusion Cloud, ensuring seamless integration with upstream and downstream applications.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.
• 512 years of experience as an Oracle Finance Functional Consultant.
• Hands-on implementation experience in Oracle AHCS and Oracle GL Cloud.
• Strong expertise in:
o Chart of accounts design
o Subledger Accounting (SLA)
o Accounting transformations & mapping sets
o FBDI templates and financial data imports
o Ledger and accounting configuration
• Working knowledge of Oracle Finance functional modules like AR, AP, FA, CM is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Functional Expertise
• Lead the design and configuration of Oracle AHCS and Oracle GL Cloud in alignment with business requirements.
• Develop accounting rules, mapping sets, transformation rules, and subledger accounting configurations.
• Configure chart of accounts (COA), ledger, legal entities, journals, period close, and intercompany accounting.
• Work closely with business users to capture requirements and convert them into functional specifications.
AHCS & Mapping Responsibilities
• Design and implement Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules and AHCS accounting transformations.
• Build and manage mapping tables to integrate financial data from external systems into Oracle Cloud.
• Define validation rules and error-handling processes for AHCS inbound data.
• Support creation of data ingestion templates and FBDI/ADFdi-based upload processes.
Integration Support
• Collaborate with technical teams on integration between AHCS and third-party applications.
• Provide guidance on web services, file-based interfaces (FBDI), and integration mappings.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting for incoming/outgoing financial data flows.
Testing & Deployment
• Prepare test scripts and conduct SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
• Support cutover activities including data migration, opening balances, and GL configuration migration.
• Familiarity with OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) concepts and Understanding of BI Publisher, OTBI, and FAH/AHCS reporting.
• Ability to work with technical teams on interface design and troubleshooting.
Stakeholder Management
• Work with finance leads, controllers, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with accounting and compliance standards.
• Provide end-user training and create functional documentation (BRDs, MD50s, configuration documents, solution design)

Base Salary Range : $120,000 to $150,000 Per Annum
