Position Description

The Functional Lead provides subject matter expertise across Oracle Federal Financials modules, supporting accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. This role partners closely with OCFO stakeholders to ensure accurate financial processing, regulatory compliance, and optimization of business processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in financial systems or federal accounting
  • Strong expertise in Oracle EBS Financials modules
  • Knowledge of USSGL, FCRA, and federal reporting standards
  • CPA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support across GL, AP, AR, Budget, Purchasing, and Loans modules
  • Manage Subledger Accounting (SLA) rules and configurations
  • Support Federal Credit Reform Act (FCRA) compliance and reporting
  • Perform financial reconciliations and ensure data accuracy
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities
  • Troubleshoot accounting and system issues
  • Support GTAS, DATA Act, and federal reporting requirements
