Job description

We Are:

Accenture's Oracle practice - and we make the new happen now. Every day, we imagine the future and bring it to life using design thinking, agile development methodologies, and smart technology including IoT, automation, and AI. We built myConcerto, our own platform that blends the best of Accenture and Oracle to help companies emerge as digital leaders. We launched Accenture Edge - a new business purpose-built to help mid-market companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion harness AI and technology. These companies face the same technology, data, AI, cybersecurity, and productivity challenges as large enterprises, but need solutions that are faster to deploy, more repeatable, and right-sized for their scale. Accenture Edge integrates seamlessly with Avanade, our joint venture with Microsoft, delivering deep cloud, AI, and security expertise so clients can adopt AI at speed.

Learn more: Accenture Edge | Built for Your Scale

You Are:

A senior Oracle Financials deployment authority who has landed complex go-lives and knows exactly what it takes to get an organization across the line safely. You command the full cutover lifecycle - cutover planning, mock cutovers, hypercare, and stabilization - and you bring the functional depth in Oracle Fusion Financials to anticipate, diagnose, and resolve issues before they become go-live risks. At the Senior Manager level, you orchestrate program-wide deployment governance, align multi-workstream teams to a single cutover clock, and give client executives the confidence to press go. You do not just manage deployments - you own them.

The Work:

  • Own the end-to-end deployment strategy for Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementations - defining the cutover approach, sequencing, runbook structure, and go-live readiness framework across all workstreams

  • Develop, maintain, and execute the master cutover plan and runbook, including detailed task sequencing, ownership assignments, duration estimates, critical path analysis, and rollback triggers

  • Lead two or more mock cutovers - simulate the full go-live sequence end-to-end, identify gaps, refine timing, and incorporate lessons learned into the production cutover plan

  • Serve as the senior functional voice on Oracle Financials deployment decisions - apply deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion to resolve cutover sequencing, balancing, and reconciliation issues in real time

  • Coordinate across all workstreams - integrations, data migration, security, testing, change management, and infrastructure - to align dependencies and eliminate deployment-day surprises

  • Define and govern cutover entry and exit criteria; chair cutover command center during go-live execution and make or escalate go/no-go decisions with full transparency to client and program leadership

  • Lead data migration cutover activities - validate final data loads, reconcile migrated balances to source systems, and sign off on opening balance integrity for Financials go-live

  • Produce executive-ready deployment status reporting - milestone burn-down, cutover readiness dashboards, and risk registers updated to the day

  • Identify, escalate, and resolve deployment risks and cross-stream dependencies proactively; present mitigation options to client leadership and Accenture program management

  • Contribute to Accenture Edge deployment accelerator development - reusable cutover runbook templates, readiness checklists, and hypercare playbooks for mid-market Oracle Financials deployments

  • Mentor and develop deployment analysts and functional consultants on cutover planning discipline, Oracle Financials go-live patterns, and structured deployment execution

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements

What You Need:

  • Minimum 8 years of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation experience, with at least 4 years in a deployment lead or cutover lead role on Oracle Cloud ERP programs

  • Minimum of 5 years of deep functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, sufficient to diagnose and resolve cutover-day issues without functional escalation

  • Minimum of 4 years coordinating multi-workstream deployment activities across integration, data migration, security, and change management teams under time-critical conditions

  • Minimum of 4 years building and managing master cutover runbooks with task-level granularity; proven use of critical path analysis and rollback planning in live deployment scenarios

  • Minimum of 4 years engaging and presenting confidently with client Finance leadership, PMO, and C-suite on deployment readiness, risks, and go/no-go status

  • Minimum of 3 years leading a cutover command center - directing onshore and offshore teams simultaneously, managing real-time issue triage, and making deployment decisions under pressure

  • Minimum of 2 Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials go-lives owned end-to-end, including production cutover execution, mock cutovers, and hypercare

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an, Associate's Degree with 6 years of work experience)

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud data migration tools and validation - FBDI, ADFDI, and reconciliation of migrated financial balances to legacy source systems

  • Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Financials period-close, opening balances, and sub-ledger reconciliation processes as they apply to cutover timing and sequencing

  • Experience deploying in Accenture Edge / mid-market contexts - right-sized cutover plans, compressed timelines, and lean deployment teams

  • Experience managing hypercare for high-volume transaction environments - AP invoice processing, AR collections, cash reconciliation - immediately post go-live

  • Knowledge of change management and organizational readiness principles as they apply to Finance team cutover preparation and go-live adoption

  • Oracle Cloud Financials implementation certification

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent program delivery certification

  • MBA and/or CPA / CA designation
