HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Business Systems Architect is responsible for designing and implementing optimized system solutions for

designated Corporate Systems. This role serves as a partner to business units, translating operational needs

into scalable, integrated system architectures. The Architect leads cross-functional initiatives, ensures alignment with best practices, and drives continuous improvement through thoughtful design, configuration, and implementation of technology solutions. The position requires strong analytical skills, technical fluency in

designated application, and the ability to guide stakeholders through complex system transformations.

This role owns the Oracle HCM solution and is responsible for the end-to-end design, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the Oracle HCM platform - spanning modules like Core HR, Payroll, Talent, and Benefits - while translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The Business Systems Architect serves as the single point of accountability between business leadership, IS leadership, and Oracle support, owning everything from system upgrades and integrations to security roles, data integrity, and roadmap prioritization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Solutions Management & System Optimization: Designs solutions and configures/develops applications to support day-to-day operations and business needs. Support ad-hoc requests as needed. Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Requirement Analysis: Engages with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications. Understands business priority of requests and plans changes accordingly. Build strong relationships across departments. Communicates complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Customer Service/Incident Response: Troubleshoots and resolves system issues within the business community. Engages internal resource groups as needed to accomplish. Addresses emergency and/or urgent issues timely.
  • Change Management: Writes and approves validation deliverable documentation validation strategy documentation, testing plans and design documentation within software. Assists the business users with activities related to software change requests, including creation and execution of test scripts to test business functionality, establishment of training plans and creation of user training documentation.
  • Project Management: Defines, documents and manages project scopes, goals, priorities, deliverables and timelines that support business goals in collaboration with Senior Management and stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five (5) years of work experience in designated software and/ or module (Oracle HCM).
  • Three (3) years of related information technology experience with analysis, validation, and documentation.


Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related Business discipline.
  • Software system certification: certification for relevant software.
  • One (1) year of experience in FDA regulated industry.
  • One (1) year of project management experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/ workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/ pitfalls.

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $100,310 - 167,183 annually


Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $100,310 annually (entry level qualifications) to $167,183 annually (experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate's knowledge and relevant experience.
